Russell has helped individuals, families and businesses in the San Francisco Bay Area manage and transfer their wealth since 1998. Prior to his wealth management career, Russell was a student of international studies, political economy and comparative governments. This led to trekking across the globe to teach English as a second language in Korea and Japan to students of all ages and levels of fluency. After five years of living abroad, it was time to come back home and put his international and teaching experiences and studies to good use. Russell found the perfect fit in wealth management. It is this unique background that provides Russell a global perspective only afforded to a few in the industry and those that work with him find him to be knowledgeable, patient, understanding and professional with unwavering ethics.
Russell has a particular interest in helping his clients navigate an increasingly volatile and uncertain economic landscape by providing a suite of comprehensive financial services in an attempt to help grow and preserve their assets and help them to live their lives in financial comfort and independence. Above all else, Russell holds trust, respect, integrity, and objectivity in his client relationships as tantamount to his success. He also believes that one never stops learning and he is always excited to find better ways to serve his clients.
Russell’s 20 year professional wealth management experience includes stints at UBS PaineWebber, Prudential Securities (Wachovia), Wells Fargo Investments, Zacks Investment Management and most recently Vestor Capital Partners. After years of working for other companies, Russell founded his own firm and partnered with LPL Financial in 2012 to be able to provide independent, objective advice while giving his clients the freedom to pursue their passions with the aim of having financial security.
Raised in Central California, Russell is a graduate of California State University, Northridge. He is firmly rooted in family, work ethic, and balance in life. He especially enjoys travel, food and wine, outdoor activities, playing guitar, and relaxing with a good book. Growing up a student athlete, Russell also has a huge passion for America’s greatest pastime – baseball. Russell and the love of his life, Linda, make their home in Danville, CA.
